Glasgow Central Station entrance cordoned off after man ‘falls from window’

A BUSY Glasgow street has been closed off after a man is understood to have fallen from a hotel window.
Police and the ambulance service were called to Gordon Street in the city centre after 11am on Friday and both entrances to the street were taped off.
It has been reported the man fell from a third or fourth floor window above Glasgow Central Station, with dozens of police and paramedics in attendance.
Police confirmed the incident and said the man has been taken to hospital.
A force spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm emergency services are in attendance after a man fell from a window in Gordon Street, Glasgow.
“There are no details on injuries and the man is being taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
