YOUNG Noah Duncan has proven he’s scrum-thing special, after joining a rugby club to aid his fightback from eye cancer.
The 12-year-old, who lost his left eye to cancer, plays rugby for his school team, Dunfermline High, in Fife.
Playing in the squad which won its first match of the season last week has helped boost the youngster’s confidence levels after life-saving surgery.
“Now that I know I’m going to survive I just want to do the things I love,” said first-year pupil Noah, of Rosyth.
Dad Aaron, 51, is delighted that Noah is thriving both on and off the rugby field.

“To see him on the rugby field makes us happy beyond words,” he said.
“Watching him play for the first time with his school team was one of my proudest moments.”
