A NUMBER of schools across Scotland have been evacuated after receiving phone threats.
Police Scotland says the threats “do not appear to be credible” but steps have been taken to ensure children’s safety and search the buildings affected.
A full list of schools involved is not yet known but it is reported that East Kilbride’s Canberra Primary, Carluke Primary and Dunrobin Primary, Airdrie were evacuated earlier today.
Parents and guardians of pupils at all schools affected will be contacted by their local authority.
