Commonwealth capers as stations put up silly signs.
It sounds like the Commonwealth Games are on the right track for success . . . certainly if Scottish railway stations are anything to go by.
Train company First ScotRail is installing what it describes as “fun, sport-inspired” signs at a number of stations around Scotland to mark Glasgow 2014.
They include Cambuslangjump instead of Cambuslang, Sprintburn in place of Springburn, and Muscleburgh for Musselburgh.
We’ve come up with a few of our own below.
Award yourself a gold medal if you can think of any world-beating examples!
Glasgold
Swimverness
Hockeith
Velodromnadrochit
Javelinwood
Shotts Put
Netballoch
Judoban
Parallel Barrhead
4 x 100 metre Relayr
