Welcome to Knackeredsville, California. Population: me.
Not even Ed Miliband, David Cameron and Nicola Sturgeon combined could match the amount of miles I’ve put in over the last week.
I’ve been from Los Angeles to Glasgow to London for a bit of work, rest and play minus the rest bit, unfortunately!
While the politicians are all still at it, I’m going to quietly shut my door, put my feet up and catch up on the sleep I’ve missed out on.
At forty winks over the past 14 days that’s…I’ve no idea, I’m too tired to work it out.
After the high of seeing Take That live at the Hydro on the opening night of their massive new tour, and then partying with them until dawn, and then presenting a bit with the lads on Good Morning Britain, it was off to London.
I boarded the flight feeling the end was near, and I was about to face the final curtain yet it felt somewhat appropriate.
That’s because I was about to interview one of the most famous celeb daughters of all time Nancy Sinatra.
She was in London talking about her dad, Frank.
There’s a fancy new Frank Sinatra tribute show on at the London Palladium which you must catch.
If you’re in London then check it out it starts in July.
Nancy was great. I’m sure she gets asked about Frank all the time, but she was game for some questions about Ol’ Blue Eyes.
Even though I was so shattered I was more Ol’ Red Eyes.
So, is this show a fitting tribute to Frank?
“This is the first of this show outside the United States, and the fact they chose the Palladium tells you all you need to know,” she explained.
“How much better could it be? This is the closest you’ll get to hearing my dad live. You have his wonderful voice in a big theatre.
“There’s stuff in a show like this you don’t get elsewhere as this is the only show sanctioned by his family.
“We’re proud of him and we want everyone to know about him, especially younger people.
“Hopefully he’ll be like Beethoven or Mozart and just be out there for ever.”
The most shocking thing Nancy told me was about Frank’s most iconic track, My Way.
Was he a huge fan of it from the very beginning?
“No is the short answer! I was there Don brought My Way to him,” she said.
“My dad looked at the lyrics and said, ‘Without exemption’?”
And Nancy then revealed Frank wasn’t all that keen on Strangers In The Night, either.
That’s like when I said that internet thingy would never catch on.
