Meeting Home superstars Jim Parsons, Rihanna and Steve Martin made for a glamorous day out!

Home is where the heart is for trio of stars.

As I looked up from my notepad, I was confronted by one of the most famous pop stars in the world, one of the biggest comedians in the world, and the star of the most-watched sitcom in the world.

In fact I’d not sat down with this many world famous stars since the Good Morning Britain Christmas Lunch.

It was an interview with Rihanna, Steve Martin and Jim Parsons.

Rihanna was looking effortlessly sexy and every inch the incredibly famous pop star she is.

Steve Martin was cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.

And Jim Parsons, better known as the hilarious Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, was incredibly funny and friendly too.

I was interviewing all three at the same time, as this motley crew of superstars are starring in a new Dreamworks animation, called Home. Think Up crossed with ET.

I was a bit worried though as it can be difficult to interview a bunch of people.

If you focus on one, then the others tend to get a bit bored and drift off.

I have to say all three were great they got on well with each other and the banter was flying.

It was hilarious hearing Jim Parsons say: “Oh no, you didn’t, Ri-Ri” to one of Rihanna’s comments.

I asked if anything surprised Steve Martin about his co-stars.

He praised Rihanna, but that Jim was how he expected.

“I was disappointed, if anything,” he deadpanned.

Steve was really funny, as you would expect.

I asked him about Billy Connolly’s banjo playing Steve is an eager plucker as well.

I took the chance to ask if Rihanna fancied having Steve play the banjo on her next single.

“I’m not against it,” she said, looking slightly terrified.

“Are you running for election, Rihanna?” Jim piped up.

“‘I’m Not Against It’ is actually the name of Rihanna’s next album,” deadpanned Steve. “Although I don’t think she can afford me.”

Rihanna’s done really well in this movie. She’s known for her sultry pop music but it’s a great performance.

“Acting to me is so new it’s intimidating to be amongst them,” she said. “Acting is scary!”

As you read this today I’ll be in Mexico, visiting the set of Spectre, the new James Bond movie.

Regular readers will know how much of a fan of 007 I am, so getting a look round the set is getting me shaken, stirred and just plain old excited.

People still say to me: “I’m sure your life is not as glamorous as it seems”.

It’s not, it’s even better sometimes!
