A pro-independence parody of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance has attracted thousands of hits on YouTube.
The cheeky video features a heavily made-up Lady Gaga look-a-like, parading around Holyrood and Westminster, alongside masked politicians.
The lyrics state that ‘Lady Alba’ is voting ‘no’, but makers of the video clearly support separation.
She sings: “I want your weapons, I want student fees. I want a country run by Tory MPs, I’m voting no.”
And to remove any doubt, a note below the video reads: “In case there’s any confusion or you have a malfunctioning irony-radar: “Lady Alba” is voting No but I’ll be voting Yes!”
The video was uploaded to the video sharing site YouTube on Wednesday and has already attracted over 18,000 views.
It includes a dancing David Cameron and ends with a rugby tackle on George Osborne.
But be warned, the song also contains swear words and an offensive gesture.
