CELTIC midfielder Stefan Johansen looks set to join English Championship side Fulham, according to reports.
The Norwegian, who had also been linked with Galatasaray, travelled south for signing talks and a medical yesterday.
It is thought a fee of around £2 million will be agreed between the two clubs.
Brendan Rodgers confirmed the 25-year-old was on his way out of Parkhead after failing to agree a contract extension.
“Stefan’s going into the last year of his contract,” Rodgers said.
“I have found him a really good guy. He has worked over pre-season and it’s been difficult because he’s been unable to reach an agreement with the club.
“But I think he has always wanted to play in England, so the opportunity has come for him. He wasn’t going to sign a new deal, so it’s one that probably works well for both really.
“I don’t think it’s complete yet but it’s something that could happen, possibly in the next couple of days.”
Johansen was named as PFA Scotland’s Player of the Year in his first full season at the club, having joined Celtic from Stromsgodset in January 2014.
A favourite under Ronny Deila, his form suffered last season.
Recent injuries have also blighted the last few months of his Celtic career, making only one appearance under Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers will be hoping to use the money raised from the move to invest in his squad having been given a tough Champions League draw yesterday.
The group stage will see Celtic face Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
