Formula 1 returns from its summer break this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix with all fans asking one question.
Is it going to be another procession for Sebastian Vettel or are we in for a titanic battle for the title?
After 10 of the 19 races in 2013, Vettel has a 38-point lead over nearest challenger Kimi Raikkonen and already has four Grand Prix victories under his belt.
The German put behind him the controversy of ignoring orders, to overtake Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber and win in Malaysia earlier in the season. He remains the man to beat.
But hopes for an exciting conclusion were provided by Lewis Hamilton in Hungary.
The Briton has been relishing the challenge of his first year with Mercedes, after quitting McLaren at the end of last year.
Hamilton had always insisted it was too early for the German team to be realistic title contenders.
But events at the last few Grand Prix suggest otherwise.
Team-mate Nico Rosberg won in both Monaco and at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, before a Hamilton masterclass.
He took pole position and never let up, to seal a dominant win, and his first for his new employers.
It showed that Hamilton has overcome problems he had adjusting to his new car and he feels ready to chase down the 48-point advantage Vettel has over him.
“To drive a new car and for it to feel incredible and for us to have three victories is great,” he says. “Last year, I didn’t feel like I had the car to win 10 races. This year I feel I have a car that can.”
